Inbrief: Court approves planner for NTS
BODY:
The Central Bankruptcy Court yesterday ordered Nakornthai Strip Mill
(NTS) to proceed with its rehabilitation plan, with Ramkhamhaeng Planner
appointed to administer the restructuring of the steel company's 33.5 billion
baht in debts.
No objections were filed against the petition made by the
Industrial Finance Corporation of Thailand and NTS.
The court also
ordered debt restructuring for Thai Wah Plaza, a property developer. It approved
Thai Wah Group Planner to administer the plan.
In another development,
Robinson Planner was named planner for the rehabilitation of Robinson Department
Store, which owes US$463 million.
Robinson Planner was jointly set up by
Ferrier Hodgson, an Australian-based consultancy, and Robinson.
A final plan is expected to be submitted to the court within three to five
months.
